"Thank you for the great product, superb price and clear instructions that you delivered. Best Buy Geek Squad couldn't even give me a real estimate for replacing the LCD on my ACER laptop unless I shelled out $85 non-refundable diagnosis fee! Diagnosis of what?? The screen was smashed! One guy just asked how much I paid for it and said, "Yep, it'll be that much to repair it." Another guy said the average repair cost was $300, so I might as well just buy a new one.
For $125 delivered (and fast too), I repaired it myself and the new screen is perfect. I had to use tape in order to reuse some of the mounting hardware from the original frame, but it works fine. I finished the repair in less than an hour. I would recommend LCDs4Less to everyone and I'll even tell the Geeks next time I'm at Best Buy.
